Grandma         : ”Can you be faster? I don’t want to miss the chicken at the market!!”

Mr.Becak GPS  : “Oke Grandma, I’ll find the fastest route to the market with GPS at my cell phone!!!”

…………..

Mr.Becak GPS : “Good Morning, this is Becak GPS can I help you? You want to order becak for the social gathering? Where is your address?”

Becak is the famous traditional tricycle public transportation in Indonesia. Becak also known as rickshaw, pedicab, bugbug, cyclo, or trishaw. (more about becak on wikipedia).

Nowadays many Indonesian becak drivers use their cell phone to help them stay connected with their loyal passengers, and to give them more service.

Wow that’s really amused me, because those becak drivers are often considered as non intellectual people with less educational background, and off course sometimes they don’t have enough money for living.

So… Technology for All… All for Technology? There’s no limitation for technology…  right? Technology has been gone across all mankind…

Mr. Kikiririt is a very…very… very economical person; he won’t buy any unnecessary things.

Now he’s very happy with his new gadget, a cell phone with a lot of facility such as camera phone, analog TV tuner, MP3 player, Radio and calculator. So he doesn’t need to buy all those things. Yes…! He watches TV with the analog TV tuner facility (free of charge, not like 3G television broadcasting), and also listens to music with the MP3 player, does the narziz things with the digital camera… just one gadget needed!!! What an economical person he is!!!   

But I think there’s no such Mr. Kikiririt at our country Indonesia, because Indonesian thinks that to have a gadget with multifunctional facilities is just a matter of lifestyle. The more sophisticated gadget you have, the higher pride you have in society. Even they don’t have enough money; they will use their credit card to buy the latest gadget. Do you agree with me fellows?

These days… Indonesian have to line up in a queue (antreeeeee) just to get their sembako ( rice, sugar, oil, etc).

Now Indoenesian has to antreeeeee for something that seems more intellect than sugar. They have to antreeeeee for WiFi connection. Based on my personal experience at my campus, I have to spare the WiFi connection with so many students in the same hotspot. And for your information, it took a lifetime just for downloading a one single webpage!!!!!….

Antreeeeeeeeeeeeeeee….

I think blogging will increase the Indonesian’s Interest in reading and writing, which will make them more smart and creative.

In Bahasa: Menurut saya, nge – blog dapat meningkatkan minat membaca dan menulis orang Indonesia, sehingga dapat membuat Bangsa Indonesia lebih cerdas dan kreatif .
